Yes — if your device supports dual SIM. You can run one physical SIM and one eSIM at the same time, or even two eSIMs on newer iPhones and Pixels.

How do I check if my phone is unlocked?

On iPhone: Settings → General → About → scroll to ‘Carrier Lock’. If it says ‘No SIM restrictions’, it’s unlocked.

On Android: Insert a SIM card from another carrier. If it works, your phone is unlocked.

What should I do if my eSIM won’t activate?

First, restart your device. Then double-check your Wi‑Fi connection. Make sure your phone is unlocked. If the activation still fails, reinstall the eSIM using the SM-DP+ details from your Odysmart email.

Does eSIM use more battery?

No, eSIM does not consume more battery than a physical SIM. Battery drain depends more on network coverage and 5G usage.

Is eSIM safer than a normal SIM card?

Yes. eSIMs can’t be physically removed, making them harder to steal or tamper with. They are digitally encrypted for extra security.

Can I transfer an eSIM to a new phone?

Yes — most carriers and all Odysmart plans support eSIM transfer. On iPhone, you can transfer via Settings → Cellular → Transfer eSIM. On Android, transfer options vary by brand.
